FRANK SCHNELL

Frank Schnell, 78, of School Hill, died early today at Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc where he had been a patient for the last six weeks.
He was born Oct. 9, 1882, at Marshfield, Wis., the son of the late Adam and Mary Waller Schnell, and on Jan. 21, 1911, married Theresa Holzer of the Town of Eaton at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, St. Nazianz.

The couple lived near Marshfield for five years and later farmed in the Town of Schleswig. They retired from farming in 1951 and for the past seven years have been living in School Hill. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church at School Hill.

Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Dora, Sheboygan; three sons, George of rural Sheboygan, Florentine and Clarence of Sheboygan; five grandchildren; four sisters, Miss Anna Schnell, Mrs. Cornelius Sass, Milwaukee, Mrs. Hanford Casperie, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. M. G. Cook, Sheboygan, and one brother, Joseph, Los Angeles, Calif. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Church, School Hill, following brief rites at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel at 9:15. The Rev. Wigbert Leinweber will be the celebrant. Burial will be
in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday. A parish rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
