Mary Jane Schneider, 52, of 14433 Hwy 42, Newton, died Wednesday evening,
April 9, at Manitowoc Health Care Center, where she had been a resident the
past three weeks. Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday at Holy Trinity
Catholic Church, School Hill. The Rev. Reginald Schrimpf, pastor, will
officiate, following brief family rites at 12:30 pm at Meiselwitz Funeral
Home, Kiel and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Miss Schneider was born Feb. 19, 1934 in the Town of Meeme, Manitowoc County,
daughter of Rose Wendel Schneider and the late Henry Schneider. She attended
St. Fidelis Catholic School, Spring Valley and was a member of Holy Trinity
Catholic Church, School Hill.
Survivors include her mother, Rose of Newton; two brothers, Allen Schneider of
School Hill and Richard of New Holstein; three sisters, Mrs. Diane Faust of
Newton, Elaine Schneider of Newton and Rita Schneider of Lancaster, Wis. She
was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, after 10 am on Saturday.
There will be no Friday evening visitation.
