She was the former Rose Mary Riesterer born April 29, 1930, in St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Anton and Mary Fessler Riesterer. Rose Mary graduated from St. Gregory Grade School in St. Nazianz.
On Nov. 6, 1948, she married Elroy Miller at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz.
Rose Mary was employed for a number of years at the Salvatorian Center, New Holstein.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill.
Rose Mary enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, oil painting and bird watching.
Survivors include her husband, Elroy; nine children, Wayne (Janet) Miller of Kiel, Eugene (Kelly) Miller of Burlington, Robert Miller of School Hill, Rose Ann McLaury of Avon, Conn., Michael (Wendy) Miller of Kiel, Dave (Ann) Miller of Kiel, Mary Bushman of School Hill, Deb (Kevin) Casper of Kiel, and Karen Halbach of New Holstein. She is further survived by 19 grandchildren, Melissa, Kristin and John Miller, Wyatt Miller, Ashley Rose McLaury, Justin and Arik Miller, Elizabeth and Ashley Schroeder, Ellis and Armella Miller, Jeremy, Emily and Ellyse Bushman, Trevor, Lauren and Olivia Casper and Chad and Curtis Halbach; two brothers, Anthony "Tony" Riesterer and Alois Riesterer; two sisters, Magdaline Steffen and Mary Ann Repenschek; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernestine Riesterer, Juanita Riesterer, Jo Ann Riesterer, Joann Riesterer, Rosella Bruckner, Arno and Doreen Miller, Allen and Jeanette Miller and Carlos and Margene Miller. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Cory Halbach; three brothers, Matthew, Francis "Shorty" and Wilfred "Fritz" Riesterer; one sister, Katherine Halfmann; two sons-in-law, Ed McLaury and Jack Bushman, three sisters-in-law, Sandra Riesterer, Arlene Schnell and Ruth Miller; and five brothers-in-law, Leo Steffen, Robert Halfmann, Ralph Bruckner, Leo Schnell and Leon Miller.
Funeral Mass will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 26 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill, with the Rev. Gregory Coulthard officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the CHURCH on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
The family of Rose Mary would like to thank the staff at Calumet Homestead Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, and St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, for the wonderful care given to her while she was in their care.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
