Addis Davis, 97, of Green County, Ky., died on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, Ky.

Daughter of the late Robert Lewis Davis and Mary Frances Kessler Davis, she was born in Green County on Sept. 7, 1906. She was a member of Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church of the Nolynn Association and a homemaker. She married Ulys "Bill" Davis on Feb. 5, 1933. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1977.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Marion Davis and Jim Hill of Green County; one step-son and his spouse, Chester Gordon and Hazel Davis of Louisville, Ky.; two grandchildren and their spouses, Nick and Mary Jo Hazel of Campbellsville, Ky., and Marti Hazel and Tom Runnels of Louisville, Ky.; three great-grandchildren, Matthew Hazel, Justin Hazel and Carlie Hazel, all of Campbellsville; three step-grandchildren, Rex Davis, Randy Davis and Betty Davis Rich, all of Louisville; eight step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; and a special niece and her spouse, Gwen Davis and Bob Horstman of Louisville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one step-grandchild, Ricky Davis. Funeral was Wednesday, Sept. 1 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. The Rev. Larry Wisdom officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
