She was born April 11, 1916, in Monroe County, to the late David Curtis and Edna Roxiline (Covert) Glick.
Ellen was a member of Galena United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed traveling and took many trips with the Joy Senior Group of Grace Chapel Community Church to destinations like Alaska and Hawaii. She enjoyed crafts and the weekly craft club meetings. Ellen was proud to have decorated the windows of Old Barn Flowers in 1979. An avid walker in her day, Ellen could often be seen walking throughout Galena.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles George Plummer and her sister, Frances Gibson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Barbara (Allen) Jeffers of Westerville; Lee (Bruce) McDannald of California; grandchildren, Guy McDannald, Megan Miller, Arlca DeSilvestri. Nickie May, Stephanie Cooper, Anthony Hancock as well as 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-6 PM at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR's 3 at 61, Sunbury where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday with Pastor Wayne Booth officiating.
Interment will follow in Dublin Cemetery.
