He was an employee of Kentucky Trailers Manufacturing in Louisville, where he retired after 30 plus years. He united in marriage to Miss Dorothy Beams on October 10, 1936, who preceded him in death on April 18,1974. To this union was bom one daughter, Rachel Carolyn Blansit of Georgia. He later united in marriage to Ms. Mary C. Davidson Milby on June 26,1981.
