Of Horseheads passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at the age of 87. Audrey was born August 5, 1926 in Muncy, PA, a daughter of the late Earl and Mildred Cogansparger Ludy.
She is predeceased by her first husband, Fred Swartwood. Audrey is survived by her husband, Stephen Acton of Horseheads, NY; children, Robert (Patricia) Swartwood of Lancaster, PA, Dan (Linda) Swartwood of Cary, IL, Gary (Carolyn) Swartwood of Elmira Heights, NY and Dean (Karen) Swartwood of Cortland, NY; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; step son, Ken (Marjory) Acton; step daughter Lois (Karl) Archer; sister, Marcia Chapman; sisters-in-law, Marge Ludy and Shirley Ludy and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 1-2PM. Mrs. Acton's Funeral Service will be held at 2PM with Pastors William Wells and Scott Wolf. She will be laid to rest immediately following at Maple Grove Cemetery.
