Henri lived in Tacoma, Pierce County, WA at the time of his passing. He married Elizabeth Renae (Atkinson) Paradis on October 26, 1990 in Seattle, King County, WA. His remains stayed with Renae until April 8, 2014 when she had him interred in the Tahoma National Cemetery. He was a very proud Navy Corpsman and always respected his service years. The ceremony was moving for this deserving American. Henri would have been so proud to have a place there even though when asked he replied, "Just plant me under some tree."
