She was a native of Kinder, Louisiana, born on February 22, 1944 to parents Dorothy (Fruge) and Wilfred Duhon.
She had lived 43 years in Orange and she had lived in Vinton, Louisiana. She was of the Catholic Faith and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vinton. She enjoyed work in her garden and cooking. Lena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Being of the Catholic faith, she was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Vinton, Louisiana. Mrs. Stanley had a vibrant, cheerful, outgoing personality that was engaging to anyone she met, a trait that she passed on to her daughter. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Paul Allemand, her son, Brandon Allemand, her parents, Wilfred and Dorothy Duhon, her sister, Jane Sonnier (FAG mem 55800155) and her brother, (FAG mem 52994408) Lee Duhon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Roxanne Clark and husband, John of Vinton, her son, Richard Allemand and Tammy Smith of Orange, grandchildren, Cassandra Hoffpauir, David Allemand, Kristin Dyer, Brandi Clark and Amy Clark, great grandchildren, Regan and Addison Hoffpauir. She is also survived by her ex husband and good friend, Floyd Stanley.
A Christian Burial Service will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 2pm at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange, Texas.
Burial will follow at King Cemetery in Hartburg, near Deweyville, Texas.
