Barts Ladon Bachand formerly of Vauxhall passed away on Dec 27, 1998, in Red Deer. Born in Taber on May 26th 1931, Bart grew up in the Chin area. He moved to Vauxhall with his parents in 1945 and enjoyed farming with his dad east of Vauxhall. Bart entered the Michner Centre, Red Deer in 1972 and had resided there since. He was predeceased by his father Alexandre on February 22nd 1968 and his mother Vervene on January 19th, 1986. Bart is survived by his four younger brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Dec 31st, from theChurch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Vauxhall with Biship Rob Mossey officiating.
Pallbearers were Carl, Richard and Doug Bachand, Rod Stevens, Stan Martin and Roy Wright. Interment followed at Taber Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Smith Funeral Home, Brooks.
