Dear Eddie,
I am happy to say, I have found Col. Keith Randall Heggen, and have done a lot of research since reading your email yesterday. I was very concerned that I may have missed his headstone. Col. Keith R. Heggen's parents are buried at Vernon Township Cemetery.
I Would Like to Thank You, first of all for allowing me, to be a small part of our American Hero's lives, and most of all for you and your comrades for honoring such a wonderful man.

Hi again Eddie, I am sending you some photos of Col Keith R. Heggen's memorial at our little towns Veterans Memorial, I appreciate that you connected Keith with his parents. I humbly Thank you all of your efforts in remembering our BRAVE. I adopted Vernon Township Cemetery late this summer, as you know, these people become our family, we get very attached, and protective. I am especially sensitive to the children, and the Veterans, and try very hard to find obits if the especially if the Veteran died near the time that he or she were serving. I like you am surprised there is not a memorial marker at Vernon to memorialize Col. Keith R. Heggen's ultimate sacrifice. (this mat be my next adventure).
Thank you again for allowing me to assist in the search, I'm so very glad we found his headstone, and what other place in this wonderful world than Arlington National Cemetery should our Hero rest.
