Miss Margaret Ayers passed from life at 1:30 Sunday morning at the home of John whistler, 21 Alabama street. She had been ill for several months with consumption and was cared for like a mother would her child by Mrs Whistler. At the time of death her father was present. Deceased was 21 years old and her death is a particularly sad one. She was a young woman of sunny disposition and was accomplished in many ways. During her long illness she did not complain and her passing was peaceful. Besides the other and father two sisters survive. The remains were taken to the home of the parents in Clark's Hill yesterday and the funeral was conducted this afternoon.
