MRS. HARRIET M. SHOWMAN, widow of Frank Showman, Fairplay, died at the Washington County Hospital, Tuesday, aged 79.

Born at Taylor's Landing, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Catherine Artz Boyer. She was a member of the Manor Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Harry Draper, Mrs. Jacob Warrenfeltz, both of Fairplay; son, Emory Showman, Hancock, and 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro, where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 pm with the Rev. Rowland Reichard officiating. Burial will be made in Greenlawn Cemetery, Williamsport.

Otho and Harriet were married March 17, 1905, performed at the bride's home in Washington Co., Md. by Rev. Barton R. Carnahan of the Mt. Moriah Church.
