Mrs. Lena Joiner, wife of Charles M. Joiner, passed away at her home in Betterton in her 38th year. She was a member for any years of the St. Johns Church by the Bay. Her kind and sympathetic understanding eadeared her to many friends.
She is survived by her husband, Charles H. Joiner, and two sons, Charles, Jr., and Walter, at home, and her mother, Mrs. Caroline Luike. Three sisters, Mrs. Herbert (Elizabeth) Mellor, of Baltimore, Mrs. Charles (Marie) Rice, of Philadelphia, Mrs. Alfus (Charlotte) Smith, of Betterton; three brothers, Harry Luike, of Philadelphia, Clarence and John, of Betterton.
