CLEVELAND — Harley A. Allen, age 62, of New York Ave., North Kingsville, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
Born August 6, 1947, in Albion, Pa., the son of Joseph W. and Audrey (Dunham) Dezman. He had resided in the Conneaut area his entire life.
He retired from the Conneaut Base Plant of General Electric after 30 years of service as a tool setter. He was Catholic by faith.
Harley experienced a world-full of adventures in his short life. He was an avid motorcyclist and especially enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and Mopar. He traveled all over the United States and loved camping and cars.
Harley was one of a kind and his memory will shine. "Carpe Diem"… "Seize the Day!"
He is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Tenney (Jason Sleigh) of Jefferson; brother Joseph Dezman of Kingsville; granddaughter, Aurora Sleigh; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Phyllis Blare.
His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, May 24th, at THOMPSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 345 Main St., Conneaut, with Father Raymond Thomas, of St. Mary /St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, presiding. Interment will take place in E. Springfield Cemetery. Please note that the family welcomes motorcyclists in the funeral procession.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, May 23rd, at the Funeral Home.


Memorials in Harley's name may be made to the Animal Protective League. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
