Miss Mary C. Schneider, 88, of 1008 S. 3rd St., died at 1:30 PM Thursday, Aug. 16, 1973, in Home Hospital; she had been ill about six weeks. She was born in Lafayette and spent her life in the same home. She retired as a bookbinder after working 30 years at Haywood Publishing Co. of Lafayette. She was a member of St. Boniface Church, the St. Boniface Altar Society, a life member of the St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary and the Bookbinding Union. Surviving is a brother, Frank Schneider of Lafayette, along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral mass at St. Boniface Church, Aug. 18, the Rev. Benno Heidlage officiating; internment St. Boniface Cemetery.
