She was born May 1, 1924, in Sulphur Springs. She lived in Lubbock for more than 50 years and lived in Mineola for several years.
She was a homemaker. Her husband, Earl Dewbre, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Donald of Lubbock and Wayne Cooper of Brownfield; three sisters, Eva McMeeley of Ralls, Dee Dee Wallace of Artesia, N.M., and Georgia Phillips of Slaton; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
