Charles Franklin "Carl" Zornado
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 1998, in Estacada Funeral Chapel for Charles Franklin "Carl" Zornado, who died May 11 of diabetes at age 63.

Mr. Zornado was born Nov 18, 1934, in Portland. He graduated from Benson High School. He owned a wrecking yard in Estacada, then moved to Redmond, where he owned and operated Fireside Restaurant for eight years before retiring in 1994, when he moved to Portland. He was a member of St Aloysisus Catholic Church in Estacada. In 1955, he married Jean C VanHooren.

Survivors include his wife, sons, Michael C of Gresham, Richard A ad Joseph Z, both of Beavercreek, and Jerry D of Oak Grove, daughter, Pamela J Pittman of Estacada, brothers, Robert L of San Diego and Jim of Oregon City, 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Interment will be in Mt Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the American Diabetes Association.
