Mrs. Anna K. Shappell, 62, wife of Alexander Shappell, of 18 North Berne Street Schuylkill Haven, died on Monday at 5 p.m.in Geisinger Medical Center, at Danville. She had been in ill health for several years.
Born in Pine Grove Township, Mrs.Shappell was a daughter of the late Wilson and Ida Zuby Heinbach.
A resident of Schuylkill Haven for 30 years, she was a member of First United Church of Christ at Schuylkill Haven.
Surviving are, her husband; a daughter Anna Marie at home, a brother John of Pine Grove, and a sister Mrs.Esther McGuigan of Philadelphia.
