Kenny was the 2nd child of Monroe and Bertha Emma Dennison Bowman who married on July 21, 1923.

His marriage to Jeannine Wingo was published in the 3-21-1946 edition of The Current Local, Van Buren, Carter Co., MO on the front page (used with permission).

Wingo-Bowman

Miss Jeaneane [sic] Wingo became the bride of Pfc. Kenneth Bowman Sunday afternoon, March 17. The wedding took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Wingo. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Gordon Reed, pastor of the Assembly of God Church.

Kenneth is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Bowman and is now stationed at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Both these young people are well and favorably known here, and we join with their many friends in wishing them all kinds of happiness.--Ellsinore Correspondent.

I remember "Kenny" very well as he used to sing gospel music in a quartet with my dad, my Uncle Percy Alcorn and another gentleman when I was younger. Wonderful memories!
