BAUMAN, Janet Delores (nee Playford) In her 77th year, Janet went to her Heavenly Home on November 8, 2014, at home, surrounded by her family, after a short encounter with cancer. She leaves behind Clare, her beloved and dear husband of 52 years. A loving mother of four children, Jay (Janet) of Orillia; Sara (Robin) of Puslinch Lake; Troy of Stouffville; and Meri Lou (Peter) of Kitchener. A dear grandmother of 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother David (Carolyn) Playford, and sisters Ruthanne Playford and Karen Lehnen. Predeceased by her parents Liddell and Vivian (Lutz) Playford, and brother-in-law Richard Lehnen. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church (3849 King St. E., Kitchener, ON) on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, from 12:45-1:45 p.m. Celebration of her life at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church will follow at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Dr. Richard Kopanke officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Evangelical Missionary Church, the Mennonite Central Committee or the Canadian Cancer Society. (Donation cards available at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, ON. or by calling 519-749-8467). Let not your heart be troubled. You are trusting God, now trust in me. There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming.
