JACK JOHNSON

January 22, 1894 ~ August 13, 1979


Jack J. Johnson, 85, Broken Bow, died early Monday in the McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel.


Johnson was born Jan. 22, 1894, in Arkansas, and had lived in Broken Bow most of his life, coming from Watson. He is a retired rancher, and a member of the Baptist Church.


Survivors include two sons, Clifford Johnson of Broken Bow and Albert Johnson of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Sharrock of Paris, Tex., and Mrs. Evelyn Oliver of Broken Bow; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.


Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Norwood-Welch Funeral Chapel in Broken Bow with Lloyd Clark officiating.


Arrangements and burial in the Watson Cemetery in Broken Bow are under the direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.
