Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 13, 1993, at Holy Family Convent Chapel. Officiating the Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be Rev. Samuel D. Jadin, O. Praem. with burial at Holy Family Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Charlotte Mayer was born November 7, 1920, at Chilton, daughter of the late Christian J. and Marie Wick Mayer. She entered the Convent in 1937, and professed her vows in 1940. Sister Tarcisius earned a BA Degree from Holy Family College, Manitowoc. Sister served as an elementary school teacher at St. Boniface and Sacred Heart, Manitowoc; Kaukauna, Kellnersville, Algoma, Greenleaf, Mackville, Neopti, Neenah, Kewaunee, Clintonville, Potosi and Green Bay, Wis.; Zanesville, Ohio; Ironwood and Petoskey, Mich.; and Wellsburg, W.V. After her retirement from teaching, she resided at Ozanam Home, New Berlin, Wis., St. Francis Convent and Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc. She is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity.
Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Madonna and Charles Bowe, Marion and Melvin Christel, all of Kiel, Mildred and Art Schuh, Appleton; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Willodeen Mayer, Campbellsport, Wis.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 1993, at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. at Holy Family Convent Chapel.
