James L. "Buck" Judd, Jr., 74, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, August 15, 1997, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. An Army veteran of the Korean War, the Greensburg native was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Morrison Masonic Lodge #76 F & AM. He also was a member and deacon at Severns Valley Baptist Church and retired in 1988 from CSX Transportation, formerly L&N Railroad, after 42 years. Survivors include his wife, Eugenia Christie Judd of Elizabethtown; one son, Kenneth C. Judd of Jacksonville, Florida; one daughter, Rozanne Judd Lucas of Elizabethtown; one sister, Betty Lou Judd of Greensburg; and three grandchildren. The funeral was held at the Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Revs. Bill Ray and Billy Compton officiating. Burial was in the Greensburg Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association.
