Ruby Roselind (Lilga) Sandy, 99, of Boone, Iowa, died Friday, January 13, 2006 at the Evangelical Free Home in Boone.
Ruby was born September 23, 1906 in Lexington, Nebraska, the daughter of Carl and Anna (Johnson) Lilga. She married Russell W. Sandy on February 10, 1935 in Grand Island, Nebraska. Ruby worked as a secretary for Sandy Insurance Agency in Boone, which she and her husband, Russell, owned and managed. Ruby was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Boone.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Charlotte Paull (G.W. "Bill") of Winterset, six nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell; a brother, Dr. Harris Lilga and his wife, Pat.
