Harry Halk Sr., 69, of 610 E. Juan Linn, resident of Victoria for the past 49 years, died at 2 a.m. Sunday in a local hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Halk was owner and operator of Halk's Radio Shop for many years.
He was born March 24, 1903 in Meridosia, Ill,, the son of the late William and Anna Aden Halk. His wife, Mrs. Reva Halk, died March 6, 1971.
He was a member of First Unite Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Donaho officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Heller; a son, Harry Halk Jr., both of Vcitoria; an uncle, Cortz Hume of Mt. Sterling, Ill.; five half sisters, Mrs. George Christian and Mrs. Bernice Vincent of Hannibal, Mo., Mrs. William Vincent of Hull, Ill,, Mrs. R. H. Stewart of New London, Mo., and Mrs. Buelah Dunston of Winnemucca, Nev.; two half brothers, Fred Boss of Palmyra, Mo., and Albert Boss of New London, Mo.; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, under direction of McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home.
The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. Tuesday until time of services.
Pallbearers will be Donald Halk, Jim Halk, Jimmie Luster, Noah C. Thompson, Fred Houghton and Clarence Thornton.
