Kathleen Johnson Alexander, 85, of the Hochatown Community, passed away October 14, 2012 at her home. She was born January 13, 1927 in Chandler, Texas, the daughter of Thomas and Ora Moorman Haley. Kathleen had lived in McCurtain County most of her life and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed reading, treasure hunting, collecting dolls and needlecraft.

She and Lloyd F. Johnson were united in marriage on August 11, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They owned and operated L & K Cabinet Shop in Broken Bow for many years.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lloyd Johnson; her second husband, Lorain B. Alexander; daughter, Elaine Johnson; sister, Addie Lee Haley and a granddaughter, Megan Curran.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Bruce Johnson and wife Jeanie of Oklahoma City, Craig Johnson of Broken Bow and Marilyn Wade and husband Dale of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Tommie K. Wade, Natlie Franklin, Christina Curran, Julie Jones, Crystal Ugge, Haley Williams, Wesley Johnson and Wendy Wade; great-grandchildren, Bill Wade, Brittany, Jordan and Jasmine Franklin, Bethany, Shannon, Matthew, Madeline and Taryn Curran, Alexandra, Avery Brian Eric Gabriel, Nadia, Will and Ben Jones, Tegan, Gabrial and Lilliana Ugge, Everette and Cash Williams and a great-great-grandson, McLane.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 2pm at Crown Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Sonny Dense officiating.
