The funeral services for Mrs. M.A. Ellis, 1509 Rural St., who died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital , will be held Tuesday at 2:30 P.M. on the chapel of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. The Rev. Gordon Bechtel, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to second floor of St. Mary's Hospital and may be sent to the funeral home.
May Limbiocker was born May 12, 1902, at Pomona, the daughter of Myron A. and Amy May Limbocker. She married M.S. Ellis on May 4, 1927, at Burlington, ad he died Dec. 6, 1960.
Mrs. Ellis was a 1924 graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. She received her bachelor's degree in music fr the University of Missouri in 1927.
She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, the First Presbyterian Church, the Emporia Women's Club and the Emporia Social service Club.
She is survived by a son, Marshall S. Ellis, 2207 Birch Road; a daughter, Peggy A. Ainsworth, 1509 Rural St.; her stepmother, Alice Limbocker of Laramie, Wyo., and three grandchildren, Linda Heins and Katherine and Andrew Ellis.
