Services for Esther Brown will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Hixson Bros. with the Rev. B.G. Dyess officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.
Mrs. Brown, 78, of Baton Rouge died at 10:55 p.m. Thursday in Our Lady of the Lake Hospital.
She was a native of Pine Grove.
Survivors include one daughter, Hilda McDonald of Boston, Mass.; two brothers, W.D. Brown Jr. of Baton Rouge and Newton Brown of Hineston; one sister, Ruby Merchant of Hineston; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Monday in the funeral home.
