Elk Township Man Laid to Rest – Other News from Alta Reporter

Alta – The funeral of Johannes Anderson was held from the Presbyterian Church on Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Carstensen of the Elk Baptist Church in charge of the services, and interment was made in the Elk Cemetery.

Johannes Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeaf Anderson, was born near Alta on January 13, 1899 and had always live in this community. He was married in 1920 to Miss Margaret Hansen and two children with the widow, survive. His is also survived by his father and two brothers.
Bearers at the funeral were Ernest Johnson, Howard and Everett Anderson, Russell and Verneley Pedersen and Emmett Hansen.

Mrs. Anderson is still ill with typhoid fever in the home of her aunt in Alta, but is making improvement.
