Frances Sekerka, formerly of Toledo and Oregon, OH, died Monday, January 10, in Gulf Breeze, Fl. Mrs. Sekerka was born in Czechoslovakia, March 8, 1901, and came to America as a very young girl. She lived most of her life in East Toledo and was a member of Holy Rosary Church. She and her husband George, who is deceased, owned and operated the Flower Bar on Caledonia St. in Toledo, before retiring and moving to Oregon (Ohio).

Survivors include her son, Stanley Sekerka, of Saline, MI; daughter, Anne Hanline, of Gulf Breeze, FL; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Steve and Joe Benedik.

Friends may call at the Hoeflinger Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-9 p.m. Thursday, where Scripture services will be held 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home Friday at 12 noon, followed by Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. in Holy Rosary Church.
