Wednesday Rites Set For Victims Of Lake Drowning.
Edward Bauman was born in Sturgis on June 29, 1942, a son of Edward and Edith (Harter) Bauman. He was married on July 6, 1959 at Covington, Kentucky. The couple had made their home here at 108 1/2 S. Orange Street. He was an employee of the Sturgis Plating Co.
Surviving besides his wife is a son, born Sunday evening; his parents, who reside near Colon; two brothers, Robert and Gale Bauman of Colon; his sister of Colon; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services for Edward R. Bauman, 18; H. Richard Vroman, 16; and Robert Ervin Vroman, 13, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Wesley at Methodist Church with the pastor, the Rev. William E. Foster, officiating. Interment will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Foglesong Funeral Home until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The three young men were all victims of a drowning accident at Quail Lake, northwest of Sturgis last Friday night.
