Dennis D. Benedict, 61, of Arcanum, died Thursday Evening, October 11, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Benedict was born in Waynesboro, PA on November 8, 1950, the son of the late Mary Catherine (Beckner) and Paul Benedict who survives.
He was a member of the Painter Creek Old German Baptist, Arcanum. Mr. Benedict owned and operated DB Cabinets and Construction in Arcanum. Dennis was a Twin Township Zoning Board Member and Arcanum Library Board Member.
Dennis was preceded in death by his Daughter Renee, Mother Mary Catherine Benedict, and In-Laws Lloyd and Lois Denlinger.
He is survived by his wife Linda (Denlinger) Benedict, whom he married June 19, 1971; Daughters Christel (Jason) Montgomery, Carlene (Ben) Garber, and Jennifer (Michael) Stephens; Son Jason (Angela) Benedict; Grandchildren Kaylee and Keegan Montgomery, Damon, Milan, Kelton, Loren, Aubrey, and Brandon Garber, Austin, Owen, Eli, Weston, and Ashley Stephens, Baze Benedict; Father Paul Benedict, Grandmother Rosa Beckner; Brothers Lloyd (Doris) Benedict, Clinton (Ruthann) Benedict,Galen (Fern) Benedict, Omar (Loraine) Benedict, and Avin (Jeannie) Benedict.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Painter Creek Old German Baptist Meeting House, 2996 Schnorf Jones Rd., Arcanum, Ohio 45304 with Brother Will Hess and the Home Brethren officiating.
Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday 2 - 8 PM at Painter Creek Old German Baptist Meeting House.
