Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Convent Chapel.
The Rev. Julian Resch, O. Praem, will officiate with burial in the convent
cemetery.
Sr. Eileen, nee Mary Kerkhof, was born July 20, 1899, at Hollandtown, daughter
of the late Henry and Johanna Kempen Kerkhof. She entered the order of
Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Dec. 31, 1918, and professed her vows
Aug. 7, 1921. She taught music at Reedsville, Oshkosh, Manitowoc, Oconto Falls,
Petoskey, Mich., West Point, Neb., Wellston, Ohio, and Yuma, Ariz., retiring
to Holy Family Convent in 1972.
Survivors include a brother, William of Little Chute and two sisters, Sister
Merilda and Sister Everildes of Holy Family Convent.
Friends may call at the convent chapel from 6 to 9 o’clock this Thursday evening.
Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
