Beverly M. Endries, age 51, of Kiel, died Saturday, April 15, 2006, peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the Manitowoc County Health Care Center after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

She was born Jan. 29, 1955, in Manitowoc, daughter of Elaine (Popp) Behnke and the late Leonhardt Behnke Sr. Beverly was a graduate of Reedsville High School, class of 1973. On Sept. 24, 1977, she married David G. Endries at St. John-St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Beverly was a dedicated employee for 32 years at Miller, St. Nazianz. She was also in partnership with her husband at Endries Trucking & Excavating. Bev was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and the church choir of Louis Corners.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonhardt Behnke Sr.; a brother-in-law, Rodney Behnke; and her mother-in-law, Julianne Endries.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Louis Corners. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Theodore Olsen with burial to follow at St. Gregory Cemetery, St. Nazianz.

She enjoyed gardening, doing yard work, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. Bev was a very busy person who accomplished a lot during her lifetime.
She was very organized, caring and a hard-working woman. Bev always put everyone else first and made helping others a priority.
The Christianson & Deja Funeral Home, Valders, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
