EAST PRAIRIE — Harley E. "Jack" Pritchett, 78, died at 5:12 a.m. April 8, 2008, in the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Born Aug. 17, 1929, in the Yellow Dog community near East Prairie, to the late Harley and Lena Eugenia Day Pritchett, he lived all of his life in New Madrid County where he was a retired farmer and a retired foreman and a former co- owner of the Stanley Muffler Company.

Survivors include: one brother, Flint Pritchett of St. Louis; one sister, Henrietta Hubbard of East Prairie; one niece and one nephew, Donna Thurman and Stanley Hubbard of East Prairie; and two great-nieces and four great-nephews.

Besides his parents, one half brother, Merton Pritchett, preceded Jack in death.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Mike Johnson will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Day, Dennis Day, Danny Day, Chris Day, Jeff Day and Greg Day.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Day, Lyle Day, James Day Jr. and Frankie Day.
