WILLSBORO - Walter A.
Besaw Sr, 75, died Thursday,
Dec. 19, 1991, at the CVPH
Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
He was born in Peasteeville
Jan. 3, 1916, the son of Joseph
and Hattie Besaw.
He was a truck driver 12 years
for Maislin Brothers. He was a
member of St. Philips Church.
He was a member of the
Willsboro-Reber Fire Department
Rescue Squad.
He is survived by his wife,
Ruth (Tyrell) Besaw of
Willsboro; eleven children,
Walter A. Besaw Jr., Sandy M.
Besaw, Karen A. Ashline and
Keith A. Besaw, all of Willsboro,
Jimmy C. Besaw of Watertown;
Gary K. Besaw of Pompton
Plains, N.J.; Paul A. Cinco of
Whittier, Calif., Patricia A.
Spath of Danville, Ky., Jean M.
Provost of Willsboro, and Bruce
Besaw and Barry Besaw, both of
Elizabethtown; 11 grandchildren,
two great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
One sister, Gladys Besaw Marcotte,
died in 1988.
Calling hours will be Saturday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
the Huestis Funeral Home in
Willsboro. A firemen's service
will be held at 8 p.m. A funeral
service will be held at 3 p.m.
Sunday at the funeral home with
the Rev. Eugene Beaudet officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery in Willsboro in the
spring.
Memorial donations may be
made to the Willsboro-Reber
Fire Department Rescue Squad
and the American Diabetes Association.
