Bonnie M. Calkins, 73, of Muscatine, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1998, at the Muscatine General Hospital. Private services were held Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Greenwood Cemetery.
She was born on Feb. 15, 1925, in Newton, to Alfred and Jennie (Trotter) Wilson Sr.
She married Mean A. Calkins on March 15, 1942, in Unionville, Mo. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Douglas (Vicki) of Muscatine; two grandchildren; a brother, Alfred Wilson Jr. of Newton; and two sisters, Beverly Donels of Waterloo, and Sherry Swanson of Raleigh, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Judith Wilson.
