Thomas H. Shook

Thomas Henry Shook, a retired railroad engineer, died Wednesday night, July 24 at a Portland hospital. He resided near Broadacres.

Born in Davenport, Wash.,Mr. Shook moved to the Woodburn area in 1912. He was a member of the Methodist churh and the Masons.

He retired from the Spokane, Portland & Seattle Railway company in 1959. His railroad routes for many years were between Portland and Eugene and Astoria and Portland.

Survivors include his widow, Maude of Broadacres, _____, Arbie Irwin of Canby, ____ ____win of Portland, Alex ___ of Sacramento, Calif, and J___ of Donald; stepdaughters, S___
Bilyeu of Woodburn and D___ McConnell of Hubbard, sister, Mrs. Georgia McFarland of Tucson, Ariz.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 27, at Ringo-Cornwell Funeral Chapel. Interment. . . .
