Joseph F. Shook. Service will be held at the Kamloops Memorial Chapel at 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday for Joseph Franklin Shook, resident in North Kamloops since 1951. Mr. Shook who was born in Springfield, Mo. 79 years ago died at his home, 190 Thrupp St. North Kamloops on Dec. 9. He came to Canada in 1912 residing in Penticton untill moving to Clearwater District in 1934 leaving there to come to Kamloops. He operated the mail route in Clearwater for several years. He was engaged in carpentry work in North Kamloops. He had also had been a partner with his son in the sawmill business. Mr. Shook is suvived by his wife Frances; 5 daughters Mrs. J.H. Archibald(Edna) of Birch Island. Mrs. R.W. Carrington(Margaret) of Princton. Mrs. R.W. Emery(Freda) of North Kamloops. Mrs. H.W. Campbell(Nellie) of Valleyview. Mrs H. Beech(Peggy) of Vancouver, 5 sons Floyd of Vavenby, Roy of Barnhartvale, Frank of Hawaii, Charles of Clearwater, George of North Kamloops, two brothers Bob of Spokane Washington, Tom of Hubbard, Oregon and several grandchildren. Interment family plot Hillside Cemetery Kamloops, BC.
