Alfred E. Boyington

Alfred E. Boyington, 72, Bristol died last Wednesday at Brookside following a long, long illness. He was a former Stevens Point resident.
Mr. Boyington was born Feb. 24, 1896 in Stevens Point to Mr. and Mrs. Abbott D. Boyington. he married Myrtle Mae Granger Sep. 4, 1915 (Stevens Point, Portage Co., WI. dwebb) and
the Boyingtons moved to Kenosha in 1919 and to nearby Bristol Township where they have resided since.
Mr. Boyington had been employed by the American Motors Corp. from 1919 until his retirement in 1961. He was a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, Bristol, and of UAW Local 72 Retirees Club.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Chester of Bristol and Harrold of Phoenix; three daughters, Mrs. Peter (Louise) Hansen of Bristol, Mrs. Roy (Pat) Plerstorff of Eldorado and Salvation Army Major Isabelle Boyington of Kenosha; 19 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers Richard of 2009 Oak St., an C.K. of Marshfield, and five sisters, Mrs. Annis Frank of Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Percy (Maud) Hallock of Glidden, Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Hornung of Janesville, Miss Madge Boyington of Chicago, Ill. and Mrs. Harold (Ida May) Granger of Kenosha.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and his parents.
In wife's obituary it said he died Jan. 29, 1969.
