Amelia was born to Heinrich and Rosina (Kraft) Paugels in Bear Creek, WI. She was omitted in the 1880 Census from her parents household but was listed in the 1885 WI State Census in Bear Creek, Waupaca, Wisconsin. This is the last census that she resided with her parents.

She married Herman Beilke on 18 march 1896 In Almon, Shawano, WI. They had three children:
Magdalena Ann Martha(8 June 1896- 8 Aug 1896)
William Emil(8 Oct 1897 - 4 July 1972
Robert Albert August (29 March 1899 - 29 July 1979)

Herman passed away after the 1905 Census and by 1910 Amelia was living in the household of George Chevalier in Almon, WI. She was present in his household again in 1920 in Bowler, WI. I have their marriage date listed as 25 May 1929. After their marriage they continued to reside in Bowler, WI.
