Mrs. Louise Blanche Thomas, age 85, of 950 Arnold Way, Menlo Park, died Saturday 22 April 1961 at a Belmont rest home after a long illness. Born in Canada of French parents, Mrs. Thomas had made her home in Menlo Park for 10 years, after having lived at South San Francisco for 30 years. Before the death of her French husband, Albert Thomas, the family lived at Bokoshe, Oklahoma, where Albert was a coal miner.

Louise was survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. *Marguerite Hjerpe of Los Altos, Mrs. Madeline Bennett of Menlo Park, Mrs. Sylvia Ball of Martinez; two sons, Ernest Thomas of San Bruno, and Marcel Thomas of Downey; five grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Olivet Cemetery, Colma.
