JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Mrs. Earlene Finch Nightengale, born March 5, 1937, in Bulloch County, Georgia, to parents, George W. and Maline Sowell Finch, passed from this life on October 5, 2012, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Darold R Nightengale; her parents, three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Finch, Ronny (Kathy) Finch, Johnny (Kathy) Finch, all of Statesboro, Ga.; daughter, Debra (Phil) Noble of Sierra Vista, Arizona; stepdaughter, Juanita Nightengale (Terry) Griffin of Greenville, S.C.; two brothers, Roy (Regina) Finch of St. George, Ga., and John (Gloria) Finch of Sebastian, Fla.; two sisters, Maggie Easter of Vero Beach, Fla., and Brenda Finch (Alton) Conner of Hilliard, Fla.; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a step granddaughter and three step greatchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
