Services for Jacob Earl Eargle Sr., 98, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Irmo Pentecostal Holiness Church. Visitation is from 6 to 8 tonight at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel.
Mr. Eargle died Tuesday, January 23, 1996. Born in Richland County, he was a son of the late John Jacob Calhoun and Hattie Josephine Bickley Eargle. He retired as a carpenter and was a member of Irmo Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving is his wife, "Dolly" Slice Eargle, a son, Jacob Earl Eargle Jr., and granddaughter, Jessica Anne and Brittany Amber Eargle of Irmo.
