"MARYVILLE, Mo. -- Dora Ellen Fannon, 87, Bedison, Mo., died Tuesday at a Maryville hospital.

Mrs. Fannon was born on Sept. 26, 1898, near Maryville. She was a member of the Bedison Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints. She was married on Feb. 11, 1922, in Maryville, to Charles Madison Fannon. They had farmed for 57 years near the Bedison community. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include one daughter, Beverly Porter of Savannah, Mo.; five sons, Harold Fannon of Minneapolis, Minn., Charles Fannon, Jr., of Sun City, Ariz., Robert Fannon of Conception Junction, Mo., and Kenneth Fannon and Max Fannon, both of St Joseph; 20 grandchildren, 13 great-grand-children and 2 step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tom Carmichael of St Joseph and Dennis Carmichael of Peoria, Ill.; and three sisters, Chloe Driskell of Peoria, Alyne Curran of Omaha, Neb., and Mary Redmon of Kansas City, Mo.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. at the Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Burial will be at the Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville." St Joseph Gazette, January 2, 1986
