"MARYVILLE, Mo. -- Robert Fannon, 60, Conception Junction, Mo., died Thursday, July 2, 1987, at a hospital in Maryville.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Conception Junction. He had attended Horace Mann High School in Maryville. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He had worked as a painter and decorator and formerly was a farmer. He was a member of the RLDS Church at Bedison, Mo. He was a member of the Maryville Eagles Lodge, where he was a past president.

He married the former Mildred Anderson on June 11, 1950, in St Joseph. She survives of the home. Additional survivors are two sons, Rodney of Austin, Texas, and Sidney of Maryville; a daughter, Sheila Neilson of Conception Junction; four brothers, Harold of Minneapolis, Minn., Charles of Phoenix, Ariz., and Kenneth and Max, both of St Joseph; a sister, Beverly Porter of Savannah, Mo.; seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Price Funeral Home of Maryville. Military graveside services and burial will be held in Nodaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Maryville." St Joseph Gazette, July 4, 1987
