He was born at Yount on Sept. 18, 1906, the son of the late William and Mamie Conrad Masters.
He was a member of the Hayti Masonic Lodge No. 571 and the Hayti Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. L.A. Masters, Huntsville, Tex. and G.W. Masters, address unknown; six brothers, Guy Masters, address unknown, Elmer and Henry Masters, both of Advance, Marion Masters, Newport Richey, Fla., Paul Masters, Pontiac, Mich. and Edwin Masters, Clarkston, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Seabaugh, Advance and Mrs. Edith Ridings, Cape Girardeau; and seven grandchildren.
Service was held at 1 Thursday afternoon at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Rev. Frank Hietman of Dexter officiating. Burial was in Morgan Memorial Cemetery.
