Guilford and Millinocket – Kathleen M. Leet, 59, wife of the late Raymond Leet, died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 18, 1953 in Bangor, the daughter of William and Marjorie Gifford.
Kathleen enjoyed gardening, knitting, and cooking. She loved the ocean, and spending time with her family, as well as her "tea time" with her social group, "The Widowers". Kathleen will be remembered as a caretaker, having looked out for her husband during his final illness, her family, and many friends. She would let herself go without to make sure someone else had what they needed.
Kathleen is survived by two children, Lynn Marie Green and her husband Cary of Island Falls, and Clint Rudge and his wife Velma of Millinocket; a special niece, Michelle Dunton and her husband Tom of Newburgh, and their son Tyler; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several half siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband, Kathleen was predeceased by her father, William Gifford, Sr., her mother, Marjorie Powers, a brother, William Gifford, Jr. and a sister, Rhonda Patchell.
