Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Nile was the oldest of 11 children born to Joseph and Cecil. They lived in a cabin near a river, with no running water or electricity. There is a beautiful painting of that cabin that one of his sisters created. It still hangs in his home.

He lived his whole life in Idaho. He was a journeyman pipe-fitter and a self-taught craftsman of many trades, including mechanics, finish carpentry, and welding. He was a sawyer and owned and operated his own sawmill and planing mill in Oakley and new Swan Lake.

He trained and used teams of horses in his early logging business. He loved work of all kinds and was always helping family and friends repair their vehicles and remodel and repair their homes.

He married Florence in 1943 and they had five daughters and one son. At the time of his death, he had 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, (Geraldine and Gene), three brothers, (Whitey, Reuben and Donald), two brothers-in-law, (Boyd and Jack) and a daughter (Kristine Ramirez).

His middle name, Wesley, has become a family tradition. Nile was the third generation to have that name, and it was passed on to his son, grandson, and great-grandson. Making 6 generations of Wesleys in the family so far.

In accordance with his wishes, there were no formal services.
